Designed to create contrast, the Haylo dining table blends new timber (used in frame and legs) with recycled timber that is used in the inset panels on top.
The feature timber is sourced primarily from salvaged old wooden doors which are often approx. 40-60 years old. The top is hand assembled from solid recycled hardwood planks, carefully selected and married sympathetically with others to create a design fingerprint that is unique every time.
The table surface has the hand application of four individual layers of hard wearing German lacquer that is interspersed with light sanding between each coat, providing a surface that easily stands up to boiling water, red wine spills, hot plates etc.
Note: Actual finish may vary from picture as all pieces use unique timber.
